You can sync a folder using Windows Live Mesh and add it to SkyDrive.

Sharing some folders/files across a home network using Windows Live Mesh.

As well as using your Network/HomeGroup or a Data Transfer Cable, Windows Live Mesh is a great option for sharing files and folders.
