The first advertisement for Windows Phone 7 has emerged, this one on YouTube on the WindowsPhoneUK channel. The advert that the site says was shown at a secret cinema screening and is not for television, shows a Windows Phone 7 device appearing in a desert as a mirage.
The adverts states that “the Revolution is coming” which coulc be more uncomfotable for Apple and Google than many people might think at this stage.
The video ends with a link to the website www.windowsphone7.com. You can view the video Here.
It’s not certain at this stage wether the video was intentionally placed online by Microsoft or if there is any, implied or otherwise, political or religious aspect to the video’s “The Revolution is Coming” message, especially with an arabic soundtrack. Microsoft have not made any comment at this time.
