Latest Google Chrome Edition Now Supports Taskbar Previews

I love Google Chrome and use it all the time as my default browser, however the one thing that has bugged me about it was the lack of Taskbar previews for each individual tab, just like what Internet Explorer has. I recently wrote about Opera which just acquired this feature in it’s latest build and now it looks like Google have finally gone and done the same thing.

It’s a feature I and many others have been shouting at Google for not including for a while now but in the latest build of Google Chrome 5, we finally see support for individual tab previews from the taskbar.

This was one of the features we really missed from the Google toolbar and it’s about time Google finally brought it to their own browser. Just like you could with the Google Toolbar, Google Chrome now allows you to set up profiles and enter Addresses and Credit cards details which you can then use to automatically fill out forms.

It’s great that these two features are now available in Google Chrome, however they are only available in the developer versions of Google Chrome 5. But this does mean that official stable releases are on their way soon for those of us who don’t want to try out the unstable versions of Chrome.
