Once these demos are run, the platform also shows the results of several browser tests that are run and compared to other browsers.
The Sunspider test is a Java Script test to see how Java performs in the browser. This benchmark tests the core JavaScript language only, not the DOM or other browser APIs. It is designed to compare different versions of the same browser, and different browsers to each other.
The Web Standards Project Acid3 Test. This test checks how well a web browser follows certain selected elements from web standards, especially relating to the Document Object Model (DOM) and JavaScript.
CSS3 Selectors test.
Selectors are patterns that match against elements in a tree, and as such form one of several technologies that can be used to select nodes in an XML document. Selectors have been optimized for use with HTML and XML, and are designed to be usable in performance-critical code.
