How to Add the Run Command to the Start Menu in Windows7
The Run command became accessible through the Start menu starting with Windows 95. It also became accessible with the shortcut key. (Windows key + R). The Run command is present in Windows Vista, but it no longer appears directly on the Start menu by default in Windows7. Rather it has been replaced in favor of the search box and a shortcut to the Run command in the Accessories sub-menu. While many of the changes in Windows7 have been accepted there are changes that make users prefer that some of the changes did not transpire. One of those changes is the disappearance of the run command. However, there is a quick way to bring it back to the start menu. Here is the sequence of commands that will allow you to bring it back on.
[1] Go to the Start menu, and right click and select properties.
