This option doesn't work if your jump list is corrupted. My GOM Player stop showing recent files, and unchecking that option didn't delete my 7 megabyte "recent files" file. So knowing this was pretty useful for me.

As I mentioned you can use a batch file to run the command automatically. Maybe my comment has something to do with your insulting comment? I would not really have had a problem with your comment if you would have only posted the first sentence.

And yes, the method makes it possible to delete specific jumplists as well. His method is nice as well but if you want to do it regularly, like on every shutdown then automation is the way to go in my opinion.

Ahum, your method also needs to be used every time you want to delete all the jumplist items, but nk's method is a lot easier and faster. so my comment is real and you need a cookie it seems lol.

No seriously, do I understand correctly that your second method allows for the deletion of jumplist items specifically for one (or more) programs? In that case it is actually useful, although I am wondering if it still faster to delete them one by one manually.

Maybe Microsoft can put an option for deleting them per program or something like that.

PS: I hope my comment is real enough for you this time.
