Web Page Printing
Here’s something new! It’s called Web Page Printing. It comes as a free download from Hewlett-Packard. This useful application it is compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Now I know, I’m a rusted on user of Hewlett-Packard printers having used them for the last 20 years or so. You’ll have to forgive my enthusiasm for their new add-in called HP Smart Web Printing. This useful application works with Internet Explorer. According to HP’s website it also works with Firefox but as yet I haven’t tried it. I’d be interested to hear whether it works there also.
Here’s how you get this useful add-in.
- Open Internet Explorer.
- In the address box type in this web address: www.hp.com/go/smartwebprinting
- When HP’s webpage opens, look for details about Version 4.6.
- Click the Free Download button.
- Choose Run.
- The download automatically starts. When the download is completed, the download window closes and the installation window opens. Follow the instructions carefully.
- Restart your computer.
- Restart your web browser.
- In the left hand side of Internet Explorer you will see the HP Smart Web printing box.
