Web Page Printing

Here’s something new! It’s called Web Page Printing. It comes as a free download from Hewlett-Packard. This useful application it is compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Now I know, I’m a rusted on user of Hewlett-Packard printers having used them for the last 20 years or so. You’ll have to forgive my enthusiasm for their new add-in called HP Smart Web Printing. This useful application works with Internet Explorer. According to HP’s website it also works with Firefox but as yet I haven’t tried it. I’d be interested to hear whether it works there also.

Here’s how you get this useful add-in.

Open Internet Explorer.
In the address box type in this web address: www.hp.com/go/smartwebprinting
When HP’s webpage opens, look for details about Version 4.6.
Click the Free Download button.
Choose Run.
The download automatically starts. When the download is completed, the download window closes and the installation window opens. Follow the instructions carefully.
Restart your computer.
Restart your web browser.
In the left hand side of Internet Explorer you will see the HP Smart Web printing box.
