Want to quickly speedup Internet Explorer 8 in Windows 7?  Then implement this quick change:

First close IE8. You will need to access an elevated command prompt, to do this:

  1. Click the Start Button
  2. Click All Programs
  3. Go into Accessories
  4. Right-click on Command Prompt
  5. Select Run as administrator
  6. When the UAC prompt appears, select Yes
  7. Once you have your elevated command prompt, input the following:

    8. regsvr32 actxprxy.dll

  8. Press Enter on your keyboard.
  9. A confirmation window will appear, click the OK button.
