Windows XP

The decline of XP can only happen when the supply dries up and it is already being restricted in the Market Place. Despite all the virtues of Windows 7 which are being expounded, it really is up against Windows Vista which itself is a fine O.S when run on a top performance machine.

However, Windows 7 cannot possibly compete with XP in an open market situation; Users are quite savvy these days, realise that Windows 7 is a tidying up job of Vista, know that XP will be supported by Microsoft for at least 3 years and will wait for the release of Windows 8 which we hope will be a much more significant step change.
