Living in the UK, I don’t get many opportunities to go to big launch events. Microsoft are hosting the UK Technical Launch at Wembley Stadium on the 6th October. Invitations to the Windows 7 Efficiency Event are free and at the event Microsoft will be running through the new features in Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2010.
I sent an email to my UK Microsoft contact and I was amazed to get an invite for a smaller Windows 7 Launch Event at Microsoft’s main London offices on the 5th October, which will feature Steve Ballmer:

I will be taking my camera along so expect some shots from the event. It will be interesting to hear the Windows 7 pitch for businesses as I will be attending not as Everton Blair, but officially on behalf of my firm (>100k employees).
