what the hell is the matter with you OMEGA ZERO. Don't be childish. i use both windows and linux and i have to say that you seem proud of windows having so many viruses. The amount of viruses that windows have is the only reason i use linux on my other machine. well, that and the speed. But your comment is just plain stupid.

Macs crash less because they do LESS. PC Crash more often because more people have found more vulnerabilities. Macs have fewer viruses because less people use them. I am sure as many PC users used macs there would be a lot more viruses and vulnerabilities on macs than there is now. If you were smart you would know how to handle these problems. Ever sense i got Kaspersky internet security 2010 i have never had a problem with viruses.

what i am getting to is that PC's have more known issues than macs because more people use them.

I like it how they say 1000's of virus's, the last time i had a virus on Vista was…. oh yeah thats right i havn't had one and im using Windows 7 now and its quicker and even easier to use and more secure, which wasn't a problem in the first place.

LOL, I don't even use protection. Do I have viruses? no…. Do I have spyware? no…. Does my PC work straight out of the box? yes….

Do I work in the IT industry? yes…. But could anyone work a PC without getting malicious software? yes….

Does my Mac with 10.5 get used? No…. Why? Because the amount of software on it sucks balls. And the fact that it is just as prone to viruses & spyware as Windows is, makes those advertisements somewhat flukey

I’m a Windows & Linux user and i never got a virus in Windows, cause i know very well how to avoid them. But i must remember those windows apologists that Windows is supposed to be easier to use than Linux/MAC, so that “it’s possible to be safe with windows” is as good as the “windows is full of virus and malware” claim…
No matter the reason, and i only speak for Linux which is the one i use, is very comforting not having to worry about Anti-Virus, Firewall, Anti-Spyware, Anit-This, Anti-That, costing you money and making your PC slower…
I think that for those who just browse the interwebs and/or write some text, Linux might actually be the best choice.

I think just about every Win user is getting tired of those adverts, what Apple & MS seem to be forgetting is that Linux/Unix are still going and they have a virus rating of about under 1% of the whole market

Look at Crapple right now scrambling to get users off from upgrading to Microsoft greatest OS aka. Windows 7. Every of those silly “Get a Mac” ads are false advertising. Yes, there are a ton of viruses attacking PC but not if you are a smart user with a good antivirus system up to date on your system. For a ultimate PC performance I recommend Alienware + Windows 7 + Direct X11.

yeah, these “attacks” are quite old and really out of gas. maybe msft can run ads on how macs are the easiest to hack into or how they recently gave out a statement recommending apple users to get antivirus or about the hardware failures they’ve been having as of late. but then again, msft isnt that childish to sling mud without any merit.

quite simply, there is no BAD OS, only bad, retarded, moronic, ignorant users and horrible, evil, slanderous companies.

I am fed up to the back teeth with apple and these adverts, Windows 7 is the best operating system to come out of redmond for a long time, but even with the vista, win98 ,win2000 i have never had virii or been hacked setup your pc correctly and dont install any old junk and as apple say ("IT JUST WORKS"). Microsoft has a bigger market share so that must say some thing.

These apple folks are people that think of so called style over performance, upgradeablity, and software. there are more games and software for windows than Mac OS.

With Microsoft Security Essentials… Microsoft is finally taking viruses, malware, spyware seriously, even on XP, Vista, and 7 runs excellent and they are offering it free. I can’t wait to see ads from Microsoft when they launch these solutions. It’s hilarious that Mac/Linux says they have no viruses and yet they have malware protection in Snow Leapard and even sell antivirus software in their stores.

Agreed with previous users. Only idiots and people who don't know what they are doing get viruses and the sort. I've never gave myself a virus before that wasn't self inflicted/caught before infected etc.

And those Mac commercials just make me want to destroy Mac altogether. They are just so jealous that Microsoft takes all the attention and is cheaper and faster than Mac's. Not in any kind of race will Mac EVER win when it comes to performance over cost. Come on lets face it Mac. No one want's to buy a Macbook for $1300 when you can get an even better one from Windows for under $1000. And lets not start with the upgrades you can do with a PC vs Mac.
