Would be nice if Microsoft would listen to the user community. They should have kept the Classic Start Menu option.

There are many users out there who still are working with Windows 2000. Still a better and more efficient Windows operating system than what is out there today.

to me the classic start menu is far easier to use. This new crap takes longer to sift through everything to get to what I want. I am not an IT tech guy either, just your basic everyday user that thinks the classic start menu is far superior to the new crap. I even searched on the internet right away trying to get the quicklaunch on. I also unpinned everything cause it was just too bulky just like the new start menu. The old classic was not bulky. I set my screen up to look like windows 98 and now I'd like it to act like it too except for the dreaded blue error screen.

Finally someone has provides us with a tool to give us what we want. The classic menu is a fine interface which millions of users are used to. It's amazing how many people have their head in the sand and think it's not desired or desirable. It's about time.

Ahh.... Just what we all want - the Classic Windows Start Menu.

How about a black background with amber and/or green text... Less eye strain... Minimalist

Excellent... I will try it. Should be a built in option though!
