A recent article on Cnet suggests that the average selling prices for Windows 7 editions will be higher than those of Windows XP or Windows Vista. The information was provided by Darrel Ward, director of product management for Dell’s business client product group, who mentioned in a interview that “generally the ASPs (average selling price) of the operating systems are higher than they were for Vista and XP”.
