Microsoft promised that the (official) distribution of the Windows 7 Release Candidate would begin on April 30 for MSDN and Technet subscribers. They were able to keep the promise as downloads are now live for both MSDN and Technet subscribers. Some users are reporting troubles downloading the MSDN releases currently but those are likely caused by the sudden storm of users who began downloading the release candidate immediately after receiving notice of its availability.
