Windows 7 Final Will (Most Likely) Be Available In 2009

The guessing game is over. The expected release date of Windows 7 has finally been revealed by Microsoft Senior Vice President Bill Veghte according to Windows news site wininfo. According to his statement on Monday “a holiday release is accomplishable” which suggests a final release of Windows 7 in the fourth quarter of 2009.

The next important step in the release cycle is the official release of the Windows 7 Release Candidate which went live just a few hours ago for MSDN and Technet subscribers. The same release candidate will be made publicly available on May 5.
