if you want to quickly tweak your Windows 7, you can try Win7Zilla. You can view the settings applied on your system, delete them or customize Win7 by adding more settings.
You can also select which user to apply the tweaks to.

hello everyone….well, i have aero up and running only because i had to buy a pci card( geforce fx 5500 ). am running win7 on a dell dimension 3000 that has the intel extreme graphics(64mb) i also upgraded the memory from 512 to 1gb. all drivers worked and updated no problem. had to install some thru safemode…..dunno why but thats what is recommended if it won’t install thru normal mode….i love windows 7 and will buy when the time comes. all these tweaks are good but i don’t think i’ll try all of them…i kinda want to f***k this up so i can try to fix it by myself like i did with xp and me….the only way i can relate to it..lol. why pay someone when you can learn to fix it yourself……

Hi! I am using a HP Pavilion A1210IN desktop pc. I have tried enabling Aero in Windows 7 by editing the registry, modifiying the XML file where Windows stores the Experience Ratings.
Unfortunately, my system just won’t display Aero.
I have an Intel 82915G/GV/910GL integrated graphics card and it normally uses 8 MB of shared memory. I have only 2 available PCI slots and no AGP or PCI-EX16 slots.
Any way to improve this situation so that I can enable Aero?

Mine too, luckly it reset the settings when it booted up the next time – tried it on Intel 910/915 on W7 build 7057, not working. I’ve read a few posts Â that some people got it working on W7 running in virtual machines though – that’s running a S3 driver, and obviously the host has to have the 3D capabilities in the first place.

That is maybe for systems where Aero is not actually supported, like Intel 910/915 chipsets… I might try it later on to see how it goes.
