I think Alt+Left/Right doesn’t work with Home Premium… I used to use this a lot while using XP, but now it is giving the similar results to that of Alt+Ctrl+Left/Right in XP… Do you know any other shortcut for going back/forward in explorer for home premium version?

Great post, but I can’t find information about my problem. Suddenly the win+arrow, to move current window possition, stopped working. Any ideas??, the rest of the shortcuts works well.

I am running on three monitors. Is there a way to maximize a window to more than one monitor using the keyboard. Something like the great Shift+Win+Arrows.

You may add your own keys by using a nifty program called “Hot Key Plus”, made by Brian Apps. Works great!
The only thing I still miss is the default way that the Win key works. Now it opens a search box that drives me crazy! I want it back the way XP worked: the Win key opens the start menu, then press the first letter of the app to start it… MS ruined this very quick way of starting programs… Grrrrr…. I wish there was a fix to this but couldn't find it.

It might be worth pointing out to readers that; unlike the way [Alt + Tab] works where [Tab] navigates through the windows and the selected window takes focus once [Alt] is released, users may simply press [Win + T] *once* and then arrow left and right through the taskbar items. A new window may be focused by pressing [Enter] on the desired preview item, or the whole procedure may be canceled by pressing [Esc].

Windows-A appears be a shortcut, but I’m not sure what for. It makes a noise if you are in explorer, for example. Don’t know what that noise means though…
