As a heavy Vista Media Center user, I’m looking forward to the improvements to Media Center in Windows 7.
Below are some screenshots of Window 7 Build 6956 Media Center from The Green Button.? As you can instantly see there are many new features in W7MC.
New Features in Windows 7 Media Center:
- H.264 support (not sure if Xbox 360 Extenders will support)
- Custom strips increased from2 to 20
- Colour code shows by category in the Guide
- Similar movies grouped together
- Cast info: While watching a movie you can view the cast, see other movies they are played a role in e.g. starred in or directed
