The mousehover time is nice. However, I was reading about a mouse hover activate window thing at http://www.groovypost.com/howto/geek-stuff/micr....

The problem is once I activate this it brings the "hover" window to the front, and it is kind of annoying but I really like the feature. Anyway to fix this? Or maybe even just a way to hover over a taskbar item to have it eventually open would be pretty freaking awesome.

Increasing MouseHoverTime to big value is the only way to disable annoying pop-ups, since Microsoft strangely removed Vista option for that.

Unfortunately, that effectively disables mouse hover in all programs that take into account that registry key, as well.
