The latest Windows 7 build 6956 which was leaked earlier this week has so called regional themes build in. Regional themes are currently wallpaper and color combinations for various regions in the world. The leaked build offers five different themes for the regions Australia, Canada, South Africa, United Kingdom and United States. Plans are to introduce regional themes not only for the English speaking world but also for other regions and countries of the world.
The wallpaper images are supposed to show the nature of the specific region. Some seem to be misplaced currently like the Canadian one showing flowers in a backyard in Madrid, Spain. Still the plans seem to provide those regional themes for many countries that Windows 7 will be sold in.
